Building on the success of last year’s event in Mexico, LARTC has been reimagined.

We listened to your feedback and we acted on formulating better relationships with the region’s stakeholders; we introduced 1-2-1 partnering which meant our attendees benefited from 60 pre-organised private meetings and we introduced other new features including technical roundtables, Speed Networking, networking drinks reception and a pre-conference workshop.

With co-host YPF confirmed for this year’s edition as well as the support of the Ministry of Energy and Mines of Argentina, we now look to build on the success of 2016, with even more new formats and initiatives to ensure LARTC 2017 delivers customer satisfaction once again.

Back in 2016, we conducted in-depth research with customers past and present of LARTC. We found that whilst the content of the event remained superior to other events, our customers were looking for new and varied formats to network with a larger delegation of the region’s stakeholders.

‘In-Person’ Advisory Boards

By evolving the Advisory Boards to be “In-Person”, we are a creating a platform for open dialogue between the regions’ stakeholders, where in-depth conversations establish the themes that LARTC should take on for 2017, ensuring that the most pressing challenges will be addressed.

This approach to creating event agendas is unique to the World Refining Association.

Speed Networking

Speed networking ensures you don’t miss out on that vital introduction.

There will be see a series of tables with red and green envelopes. Please stand behind either a green or a red envelope. When the bell rings, you have 3 minutes to network and swap business cards with others at your table. After 3 minutes gather your new business cards.

1-2-1 Partnering

To ensure you get help you get the most value out of an event and to make sure you are meeting the right people, we can offer you exclusive 1-2-1 partnering sessions.

In the lead up to the event you will be assigned a dedicated Networking Manager who will contact you to review the delegate list and determine which companies you want to meet.
