Americo Apostolo is currently the Latin America Director of Downstream Business for DORF KETAL and started at DORF KETAL in 2008. He has 27 years of experience in specialty chemicals technical marketing and technical sales in petrochemical, refinery and fuel additives. Prior to joining DORF KETAL, he worked for GE (General Electric) for 15 years, where he was downstream additives Latin America Technical Marketing and Process Specialist. Prior GE, he worked 5 years in Dow Chemical as Process Engineer. He received his MS degree in chemical engineering from UNICAMP (Universidade Estadual de Campinas) and MBA in Marketing from ESPM (Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing).

Li Xingwen graduated from East China University of Chemical Technology (ECUCT) in 1987 and since then has been working with SINOPEC, he earned his MBA degree in 2010 from University of International Business & Economics (UIBE). Li Xingwen has rich experience in petrochemical industry, specifically in refinery and petrochemical plant construction, operation, as well as technology transfer business. Mr. Li is now the vice chief engineer of Sinopec Tech, a subsidiary of Sinopec responsible for SINOPEC technology transfer and licensing business.

Position / Experience: Brad joined the Sabin Metal Corporation in late 2012 and was named Vice President of Sales and Marketing in January 2015. He has over 30 years’ experience in the precious metals industry and has served in a wide variety of roles: from machine operator and department supervisor in 1980’s to inspector, ISO auditor and eventually Senior General Manager of the Metals and Minerals Division of Inspectorate America Corp. from 1990 to 2012.

Brad has been a member of the International Precious Metals Institute since 1999, has served on its Executive Committee since 2007, and was the President of the Institute for the 2012-2013 term. He has written numerous articles for industry publications and made dozens presentations on precious metals throughout the world.

Fabio Pires has worked at Johnson Matthey for 13 years, with the last two as the Business Manager for Latin America in the Oil & Gas sector. He graduated in Electronic Engineering at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and holds a Masters degree in Business Administration by IBMEC. His experience as a Field Engineer working with Tracerco gamma scanning and tracer applications provides him with both theoretical and practical understanding of process operations to help provide a better understanding of process equipment and its operations to customers. Fabio travels extensively through Latin America engaging customers and aiding them to improve their process plants with the range of Johnson Matthey solutions.

Walter Tijmes (pronounced “Times”) is Daily Thermetrics’ Vice President of Sales and Technology. Mr. Tijmes is highly experienced in temperature measurement and process control equipment for hydroprocessing and other catalytic reactors.  Walter’s responsibilities include consulting with process licensors and other refining experts to design and specify advanced temperature measurement equipment to more accurately monitor and control the performance of reactors, fractionators, reformers and fired heaters.

Walter joined Daily Thermetrics in 1997 and has been leading the sales and marketing efforts for the company. He earned his undergraduate degree from Rice University, as well as an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin.
